Bambieffekten

"Bambieffekten" (The Bambie Effect) is a movie about two young women who meet on the internet. Veronica and Cecilie come from different backgrounds, but they have in common their desire and goal: To disappear. They make a suicide pact, and together they go to Veronica's family cabin by the lake – a trip non of them plan to return from. During their stay, they film everything they do, to leave a farewell tape for their families. The movie is the girls' own recordings.

Despite the theme, the movie is not as dark and gloomy as it sounds. More pastel gloomy. We therefore wanted to make the teaser poster light and naive, and play with the film's title, using a fragile, porcelain descending bambi as a vague picture of the main characters and their plans to drown themselves. The main poster is a little more direct, showing the girls under water, but still a bit secret and dreamy. The movie is the girls' own recordings, with a handheld camera, and this nervous, homemade style is reflected in the typography.
